DIN 4003-179
Concept for the design of 3D models based on properties according to DIN 4000 - Part 179: Deburring tools

Title (German)

Konzept für den Aufbau von 3D-Modellen auf Grundlage von Merkmalen nach DIN 4000 - Teil 179: Entgratwerkzeuge

Overview

This standard applies in conjunction with DIN 4003-1 and DIN 4000-179 and specifies the 3D modeling of deburring tools. The DIN 4003 series of standards defines unambiguous rules for the design of 3D models that are independent of CAD/CAM systems. Based on the DIN 4000 and ISO 13399 series of standards, 3D models are defined with coordinate systems and additional parameters in the representation and level of detail. These 3D models form the basis for data exchange, for example between suppliers and users, and for use in the CAD/CAM process chain. This standard has been prepared at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS), Working Committee NA 121 07-02 AA "Aufbau von 3D-Modellen nach DIN 4000" ("Design of 3D models based on properties according to DIN 4000").
