DIN 4003-172
Concept for the design of 3D models based on properties according to DIN 4000 - Part 172: Driven tool units

Title (German)

Konzept für den Aufbau von 3D-Modellen auf Grundlage von Merkmalen nach DIN 4000 - Teil 172: Angetriebene Werkzeugeinheiten

Overview

This standard applies in connection with DIN 4003-1 and DIN 4000-172 and specifies the 3D modelling for driven tool units. The series of standards DIN 4003 specifies unambiguous, CAD/CAM system independent rules to design 3D models. Based on the series of standards DIN 4000 and ISO 13399 the design of 3D models is specified with coordinate systems and additional parameters for representation and the depth of detail. These 3D models form the basis for the data exchange for example between supplier and user and the application in the CAD/CAM process chain. This standard has been prepared by NA 121-07-02 AA "Aufbau von 3D-Modellen nach DIN 4000" ("Design of 3D models based on properties according to DIN 4000").
