Resin based reactive compounds and cold-curing compounds used for sealing and electrical insulation - Generic standard; Text German and English
Abstract
This generic standard is applicable to resin based reactive compounds and to cold-curing compounds and to the electric insulating materials (moulding materials) produced from resin based reactive compounds. Resin based reactive compounds and cold-curing compounds according to this standard are used in the manufacture of penetrations according to VG 88712:2010-10 and VG 88713:2010-10, the resin based reactive compounds additionally for the production of watertight and fire-resistant cable connections, cable terminations and busbars. These materials are referred to here after as moulding materials. This generic standard includes the general requirements and provisions. It contains statements relating to unchanging technical requirements and test conditions, i.e. properties and provisions that apply to the respective products as well as general procedures, matters of liability, patent law, etc. The detail standard specifies the specific technical requirements and tests applicable to the respective products. If statements of the detail standard differ from those given in the generic standard, statements of the detail standard shall apply.
