Overview
This International Standard describes objectives, functional requirements and guidelines for emergency response measures on offshore installations used for the development of hydrocarbon resources. The standard is applicable to fixed offshore structures or floating production, storage and off-take systems. German Working Committee NA 109-00-01 AA "Materialien, Ausrüstungen und Offshore-Bauwerke für die Erdöl-, petrochemische und Erdgasindustrie - Spiegelausschuss zu ISO/TC 67" ("Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 67") of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries Standards Committee (NÖG) of DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V. has participated in the preparation of the Standard.
