Overview
This document specifies the general characteristics, conditions for qualification, acceptance and quality assurance for a fibre optic cable with a bend-insensitive, 50 µm/125 µm Graded Index fibre core, 1,8 mm outside diameter for non pull-proof contact designs. The standard EN 4641-401 has been prepared by the ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-10 AA "LWL und LWL-Komponenten" ("Fibre optic cables and components") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
