Overview
The ISO/IEC 15504 standard series provides a model for process assessment which is known under the name SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination). ISO/IEC 15502-2 sets out the minimum requirements which shall be met for performing process assessment in accordance with SPICE in a comparable and repeatable manner. Process assessment in accordance with ISO/IEC 15504 is based on a two-dimensional model containing a process dimension and a capability dimension. ISO/IEC 15504-2 is directed at assessors. DIN ISO/IEC 15504-2 is the German version of the International Standard ISO/IEC 15504-2. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 043-01-07 AA "Software und System-Engineering" ("Software und systems engineering") at DIN.
