Overview
The ISO/IEC 15504 standard series provides a model for process assessment which is known under the name SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination). The first part of this standard series is intended to provide the user with basic knowledge about the concept of process assessment according to ISO/IEC 15504. ISO/IEC 15504-1 covers the fundamental concepts and vocabulary of the ISO/IEC 15504 standard series.
