Abstract
This document specifies limit values for edge distances of rolling bearings of metric bearing series with a cylindrical bore, the dimensions of which are specified in DIN rolling bearing standards. For the proper dimensioning of edge distances on rolling bearings and mating parts, information is required on limit values for edge distances, of which the lower limit value is primarily of interest to the bearing user and the designer of the mating parts. This lower limit value is used as a reference value between this standard and the DIN standards on rolling bearing dimensions.
