DIN Standards Committee Water Practice

Overview

This standard, in conjunction with DIN EN ISO 11297-1, specifies requirements and test methods for close-fit lining systems intended to be used for the renovation of underground drainage and sewerage networks under pressure. The standard is applicable to polyethylene (PE) pipe for both independent and interactive pressure pipe liners as well as associated fittings and joints for the construction of the lining system. The preparatory work has been performed by Working Group ISO/TC 138/WG 12 "Rehabilitation of pipeline systems". The committee responsible for this standard is NA 119-05-37 AA "Renovierung, Reparatur und Erneuerung von Abwasserkanälen und -leitungen" ("Renovation, repair and replacement of drains and sewers") of the Water Practice Standards Committee at DIN.
