Overview
The DIN 13 series of standards specifies nominal dimensions, limits of sizes and other parameters for the ISO general purpose metric screw thread (M). Parts DIN 13-21 through DIN 13-26 include limits of sizes for fine pitch threads with the preferred tolerance classes. DIN 13-22 (this document) is applicable to the range of nominal thread diameters from 25 mm to 52 mm. The basic and nominal profiles for the ISO general purpose metric screw thread are specified in DIN ISO 68-1, and the tolerances and tolerance classes in the DIN ISO 965 series of standards. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 152-02-01 AA "Gewinde" ("Screw threads") at DIN Standards Committee Technical Fundamentals (NATG).
