Overview
DIN 16283 is part of the series of standards for accessories for mechanical pressure gauges. This document applies to clamping sleeves for a nominal pressure (PN) (corresponding to the maximum allowable pressure PS at room temperature) of 250 bar and 400 bar and a maximum allowable temperature (TS) of 120 °C for pressure gauges and their accessories, which are designed with connection featuring cylindrical pipe threads according to DIN EN ISO 228-1 or metric thread M20 × 1,5 according to DIN 13-6. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 152-04-01 AA "Mechanische Druck- und Temperaturmessgeräte" ("Mechanical gauges for pressure and temperature") at DIN Standards Committee Technical Fundamentals (NATG).
