Overview
Standard DIN ISO 10069-1 specifies the dimensions of elastomer pressure springs used in tools for pressing, and the diameters of counterbores for these pressure springs. Along with the dimensions for different size classes of pressure springs, the DIN-ISO standard gives information about permissible materials and their hardness, the standard designation of components as well as the marking of the product packaging. Examples for application regarding the mounting of elastomer pressure springs are given in an informative annex. DIN ISO 10069-2 specifies the dimensions of spring collars and pilot pins used as accessories of elastomer pressure springs in tools for pressing. Along with dimensions for different size classes of spring collars and pilot pins, the DIN-ISO standard gives information about standard designations of the components. The standards contain the corresponding German version of the international standard which has been prepared by ISO/TC 29/SC 8 "Tools for pressing and moulding", Working Group 2 "Tools for pressing". The responsible German Mirror Committee is Working Committee NA 121-03-02 AA "Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik" ("Tools for pressing") at FWS.
