Abstract
This document specifies general tolerance values in tolerance grades and tolerance classes for general geometrical and dimensional specifications, supplementing DIN EN ISO 22081:2022-10. Its application is independent of technology, material and product type (component/assembly) and applies to product definition data sets ranging from classification code 1 (2D drawings) to classification code 5 (3D CAD model) in accordance with DIN ISO 16792:2025-06. This document does not contain any specifications regarding measurement strategies. These can be found in E DIN 23601:2024-11 as needed.
