Abstract
This document gives the units of the International System of Units (SI) as well as other recommended units and prefixes for decimal sub-multiples and multiples of the units. Multiples and sub-multiples of SI units for general use and other recommended units are compiled in DIN 1301-2. See DIN 1301-3 for the conversion of non-SI units. For names and symbols analogous to units, see Supplement 1 (de: Beiblatt 1) to DIN 1301-1.
