Abstract
This document is applicable to Rugby, Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie goals used for competition, training or recreational play, indoor and outdoor areas including educational establishments and public recreational areas. It specifies the functional and safety requirements and test methods for all types of portable and permanent socketed goals having a total weight greater than 10 kg. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 136 "Sports, playground and other recreational facilities and equipment", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
