Playground equipment and surfacing - Classification and test method for bouncing facilities
Abstract
This document supplements the information on “Measuring rebound effect of a bouncing facility” contained in EN 1176- 1 and shares good practice for the implementation of the requirements in EN 1176-1. This document provides an alternative to the test method described in EN 1176-1 that can provide better insight to the performance of the bouncing facility for risk management and injury reduction. This test is intended to be conducted under laboratory conditions for the benefit of the manufacturer or other interested party
