Overview

The document establishes a methodology that leads to the selection of critical factors relating to emissions of hazardous substances for the purpose of specifying suitable verification procedures. The document is intended to be used in conjunction with the first part of this series of standards and relates specifically to the review of safety requirements and/or protective measures. The standard contains the German version of the previous edition which was editorially revised by Technical Committee ISO/TC 199 "Safety of machinery" (secretariat: DIN) of the International Committee for Standardization (ISO) in cooperation with Technical Committee CEN/TC 114 "Safety of machinery" (secretariat: DIN) of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) within the scope of a so-called "minor revision". This standard replaces the previous standard DIN EN 626-2, the terminology of which has been adapted to DIN EN ISO 12100.
