DIN Standards Committee for Organizational Processes

Overview

This document establishes a classification of burning behaviour of upholstered textile composites and prefabricated upholstered textile composites used in public spaces, healthcare facilities, non-residential buildings, offices, and educational institutions. Excluded from this classification are upholstery composites used in automobiles, railway vehicles, ships, and aircraft. The document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-05-43 GA "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss NMP/NHM: Brennverhalten von Textilien, Textil- und Polsterverbunden" ("Joint working committee NMP/NHM: Burning behavior of textiles, textile and upholstered compounds") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
