Overview

This part of IEC 61784-5 specifies the installation profile for CPF 22 (AUTBUSTM). Annex A of this document describes various requirements for the CPF 22 (AUTBUSTM) communication profile. These requirements relate, among other things, to cabling, network characteristics, pin assignments, and connectors. This document only applies to installation of the CPF 22 (AUTBUSTM) communication profile family. This standard shall be consulted, for example, when installing fieldbus devices in an industrial installation that communicates via the CPF 22 (AUTBUSTM) communication profile.
