Organische Licht emittierende Dioden (OLED) Lichtquellen für die Allgemeinbeleuchtung - Sicherheit - Teil 2-2: Besondere Anforderungen - Integrierte OLED-Module (IEC 62868-2-2:2020 + AMD1:2025); Deutsche Fassung EN IEC 62868-2-2:2021 + A1:2025
Overview
This part of IEC 62868 specifies the safety requirements for integrated organic light-emitting diode (OLED) modules for use on ripple free DC supplies up to 1 000 V or AC supplies up to 1 000 V RMS at 50 Hz or 60Hz. This document deals with the specific safety requirements for integrated organic light-emitting diode (OLED) modules that are relevant to this type of OLED design, in addition to the general safety requirements for OLED products in accordance with IEC 62686-1. As a result of the limited scope of Part 1 of this series of standards, OLED products according to this document are not intended for use in displays, etcetera. The standard differs from DIN EN IEC 62868-2-2 (VDE 0715-18-2-2):2022-11 as follows: a) the references to requirements and tests to be met have been updated; b) Annex B on the classification of OLED modules has been added. OLED products in accordance with this document are used in indoor lighting when, for example, light is to be uniformly emitted across an area.
