Overview
This document specifies the dimensions and requirements for the design and functional quality of small-bore connectors intended either for use as an additional access connection in a breathing system or in applications involving respiratory drive gases for medical devices and accessories. The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 176-05-02 AA NA 176-05-02 AA "Kleinlumige Konnektoren für Flüssigkeiten und Gase zur Verwendung im Gesundheitsbereich" ("Small bore connectors for liquids and gases in health care applications") at DIN Standards Committee Health Technologies (NAGesuTech).
