Gasabsperrarmaturen bis 5 bar für die Gas-Hausinstallation - Teil 1: Anforderungen und Prüfungen
Overview
This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 032-02-06 AA "Gasarmaturen" ("Gas valves") at DIN Standards Committee Gas Technology (NAGas) in agreement with DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e. V. (DVGW German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). This document applies to stop valves that do not fall within the scope of DIN EN 331, namely for ball and plug valves with a nominal diameter greater than DN 100, as well as butterfly valves, sliding valves and cocks, up to a maximum nominal diameter of DN 150 that are operated with gases in accordance with DVGW G 260 (A) (but not for liquefied petroleum gas in the liquid phase). This document applies in addition to the requirements specified in DIN EN 331, also up to DN 150, for these stop valves. Furthermore, it contains additional requirements and tests with regard to DIN EN 331 for service valves in accordance with DVGW Worksheet G 459-1, including those with a thermally actuated operating mechanism. DIN 3389-1 shall also be taken into consideration for stop valves with an integrated isolation point; DIN 3586 shall also be taken into consideration for thermally actuated stop devices (TAE). With the exception of MOP 20, pressure and temperature classes according to DIN EN 331 apply to stop valves.
