DIN Standards Committee Gas Technology
About NAGas
The DIN Standards Committee Gas Technology (NAGas) is responsible for standardization tasks in the fields of pipeline-based energy supply with gases (including hydrogen) and gas utilization. In this content requirements regarding construction and performance characteristics about material standards, performance standards and the method of testing are specified. Within the framework of European harmonization also functional standardization is practised. The NAGas contributes in the above-named scope for national, European and international standardization.
In the case of standards projects with reference to other standardization committees in the field of control- and safety engineering, e. g. DIN Standards Committee for Heating and Ventilation Technology (NHRS), DIN Standards Committee Heating and Cooking Equipment (FNH), DIN Standards Committee Valves (NAA) or related areas of standardization, a coordination concerning the general management and the sponsorship occurs before beginning the work.
