Test Gases - Test pressures - Appliances categories for hydrogen admixtures - Expansion of EN 437-1
Abstract
Shall be according to EN 437 (that will be renumbered as EN 437-1 as per the on-going revision of the 2021 version), Clause 1 with the following additions: This document specifies the test gases, test pressures and categories of appliances relative to the use of new gaseous fuels of the second family containing up to 20 % hydrogen (H2NG-Y20). The document makes recommendations for the use of the gases and pressures to be applied for the tests of appliances burning gaseous fuels including hydrogen (admixtures). During the plenary meeting it has been recommended to create a series of reference documents under the numbering 437 where EN 437 would become EN 437-1 (the umbrella standard) and complementary TS would become TS 437-2-1, -2-2, etc, -3-1, -3-2, etc. In the present case, the TS will be referenced as TS 437-2-1.
