Abstract
This document describes a status of technology available for the tracking in support the activity of logistic service providers. This document will cover tracking of letter and parcel but as well any kind of container, means of transportation and other devices when it is beneficial. Each technology is described with its advantages and disadvantages. Use cases of those technologies are also presented.
