Abstract

Define the end-to-end harmonised data for delivering goods and merchandize in retail, starting from the collection from the sender or supplier, the hand over to the first logistic operator, the engagement of freight and transport operators, competent authorities conducting the legal and regulatory oversight, customs and import duty related management, transport safety and product security, and the final delivery from the hub of the last mile delivery operator to the collection point of the end recipient. In its work on this standardisation deliverable, CEN shall take into account conformity with Regulation (EU) 2020/1056, in particular the Common EU transport data model, as well as the Commission Delegated Act (EU) 2015/2446, in particular the EU Customs Data Model, compliant with the UPU Global Postal Model.
