Digital identification of postal operators
Abstract
Define a technical and messaging specification to uniquely digitally identify postal (including Courier-, Express- and Parcel-) operators and stakeholders along the postal supply chain provide services and interoperability, including to competent authorities in transport safety, product security and matters related to sustainability. In its work on this standardization deliverable, CEN shall take into account conformity with Regulation (EU) 2020/1056 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as appropriate, and coordinate with the Universal Postal Union, where possible.
