Abstract
This standard is to be applied for providers of "service living for the elderly" or assisted living. This standard is to be applied for facilities of service living for the elderly or assisted living. This standard is to be applied irrespective of the legal form of ownership of the real estate and usage relationships based on this. This standard is an instrument for voluntary quality assurance on the market of service housing for seniors. The standard defines minimum quality standards about service offers of the provider of service housing for seniors. An additional goal of the standard is to increase the transparency of services for consumers.
