DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering

Overview

This standard is applicable to outdoor synthetic turf areas with a filled or unfilled pile surface. It contains requirements which do not contradict DIN EN 15330-1 and DIN EN 15330-4. This document contains requirements for the individual layers below the synthetic turf, its fillers and environmental compatibility. NOTE Synthetic turf areas allows the use of a variety of sports games. This mainly includes football, hockey, American football and tennis, for training and competition, but also school sports and other types of sports games. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-01-22 AA "Kunststoffflächen und Kunststoffrasenflächen (SpA zu CEN/TC 217/WG 6 und WG 11)" ("Synthetic surfaces (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 217/WG6 and WG 11)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
