DIN Standards Committee Road Vehicles and Mobility

Overview

This engineering standard specifies single-bolt fuse-links and associated test fixtures for fuses for use in road vehicles. Specifications are made with respect to rated current, test procedures and requirements. The dimensions are also defined. The described fuses are intended for use in on-board networks at a nominal voltage of 12 V, 24 V and/or 42 V. The standard ensures quality of the applied fuses and provides therewith for safe functioning of the electrical and electronic equipment of the road vehicle. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 052-01-03-05 AK "Sicherungen" ("Fuses") at DIN.
