Abstract
The series "Road vehicles — R744 air conditioning systems" is used for the standardization of components of the R744 refrigerant circuit for passenger car and accordingly for the standardization of re-quirements for these components. Likewise procedural requirements for the development and qualification are described. So the components can be used in the same or similar design in all R744 vehicle air condition-ing systems. This document is applicable to R744 air-conditioning systems and specifies the requirements from the view-point of the vehicle manufacturer for quality, strength and service life for the connection technology that are operated in refrigeration circuits using refrigerant R744, and it also specifies the appropriate tests.
