Overview
This document specifies the dimensions, design and materials of clamp connections with O-ring for butt welding on tubes with dimensions according to DIN 11866. The clamp connections are designed for the following permissible pressures only when suitable clamps are used: - external tube diameters of 12,7 mm to 41,0 mm: 4,0 MPa (40 bar); - external tube diameters of 42,4 mm to 70,0 mm: 2,5 MPa (25 bar); - external tube diameters of 76,1 mm to 104,0 mm: 1,6 MPa (16 bar). These pressures can be applied from -10 °C to +140 °C when using suitable sealing materials.
