Overview

This document specifies the dimensions, design, and materials of threaded connections with O-ring for butt welding on tubes with dimensions according to DIN 11866. The groove union nut is specified in DIN 11851. The threaded connections are designed for the following permissible pressures: - external tube diameter from 12,7 mm to 41,0 mm: 4,0 MPa (40 bar); - external tube diameter from 42,4 mm to 104,0 mm: 2,5 MPa (25 bar). These pressures can be applied at temperatures from -10 °C to +140 °C when using suitable seal materials.
