DIN Standards Committee Valves

Abstract

This standard applies to protecting caps for pipe fittings with welded or threaded ends. The protecting caps are especially used during shipping and storage to seal the fittings against the ingress of foreign matters and to protect the blace of attachment from damage. This standard does not apply to protecting caps for fittings with flanged connections (refer to DIN EN 12351).
