DIN Standards Committee Nonferrous Metals

Overview

This document applies to bars made of titanium and titanium alloys, hereinafter to as "titanium materials". Titanium materials are applicable to round, square, hexagonal, octagonal, and flat bars with a width-to-thickness ratio less than or equal to 8:1 for unalloyed titanium and low-alloy titanium materials, and 3:1 for high-alloy titanium materials. The strength properties, dimensional and shape tolerances are applicable to the dimensions and cross-sections specified in the tables. This document has been prepared by the Working Committee NA 066-03-06 AA "Titan" ("Titanium") at DIN Standards Committee Nonferrous Metals (FNNE).
