Small screws and thread forming screws
This committee develops standards regarding technical specifications for thread-forming screws and self-tapping screws. The material properties as well as the mechanical characteristics of the screws are specified. Furthermore, the test procedures are specified, with the help of which the monitoring can be assured and the compliance with these characteristics can be ascertained. In addition, this committee develops product standards in the field of self-tapping screws, thread-forming screws, drilling screws and wood screws as well as other small screws with various head configurations. Furthermore, different kinds of internal driving features are specified.
