Overview
This document applies to applications with hexagon compression types in mechanical or hydraulic presses, preferably for pressing electrical conductors. These press dies are mainly used in overhead line construction, but can also be used in cable construction. This document is only applicable in conjunction with DIN 48083-1 or DIN 48083-3. The standard differs from DIN 48083-4:1985-04 as follows: a) the tool identification numbers have been expanded.
