DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel

Overview

This European Standard EN 10120 specifies the requirements for steel sheet and strip intended for the manufacture of welded gas cylinders. The most important change compared to the 2008 version is the extension of the scope of the standard by the inclusion of a new steel grade HCT600XB, supplied in the cold-rolled condition. The responsible German standardization committee is Subcommittee 04/2 "Stähle für den Druckbehälterbau" ("Steels for pressure purposes") at DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel (FES).
