Overview
DIN EN 10028-3 is a harmonized standard, cited in the Official Journal of the European Union. This European standard, together with Part 1 of this series of standards, contains requirements for flat products for pressure equipment made of weldable fine grain steels. This standard is considered harmonized as the aforementioned products are also (but not only) used for pressure equipment and therefore support the Essential Requirements of the EU Directive 2014/68/EU. The responsible German standardization committee is Subcommittee 04/2 "Stähle für den Druckbehälterbau" ("Steels for pressure purposes") at DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel (FES).
