Overview

This document applies to feed-through terminals for high voltage that are primarily used for electrical connection of rotating electrical machines with a rated voltage of up to 6,6 kV or 11 kV in accordance with DIN EN 60034-1 (VDE 0530-1). The provisions of the DIN EN (IEC) 60079 (VDE 0170) series of standards shall be observed when used with electrical apparatus for potentially explosive atmospheres. Parts list of feed-through terminals: see DIN/TS 46265-2; ceramic insulators for feed-through terminals: see DIN/TS 46266-1; feed-through bolts for feed-through terminals: see DIN/TS 46266-2; flanges and discs for feed-through terminals: see DIN/TS 46266-3. This document applies to feed-through terminals for high voltage that are primarily used for electrical connection of rotating electrical machines with a rated voltage of up to 6,6 kV or 11 kV in accordance with DIN EN 60034-1 (VDE 0530-1). The standard differs from DIN 46265-1:1988-06 as follows: a) updated references to other documents; b) the test voltage has been omitted from Table 1, footnote 1. This document provides illustrations and details with regard to feed-through terminals.
