Overview

The scope of application includes, among other things: feed-through terminals for high voltage that are primarily used for the electrical connection of rotating electrical machines with a rated voltage of up to 6,6 kV or 11 kV in accordance with DIN EN 60034-1 (VDE 0530-1). With their M16 feed-through bolt they are suitable for higher short-circuit ratings than feed-through terminals with ceramic insulators in accordance with DIN/TS 46265-1. The following restrictions apply, among others: This document applies to feed-through terminals for high voltage that are primarily used for the electrical connection of rotating electrical machines with a rated voltage of up to 6,6 kV or 11 kV in accordance with DIN EN 60034-1 (VDE 0530-1). The standard differs from DIN 46264:1988-06 as follows: a) references to other documents have been updated; b) test voltage (Table 3) has been removed, as it is no longer specified in IEC 60034-1. Typical examples of application of the document include: - test setup; - test load and test torque; - test and acceptance conditions.
