Overview

The scope of this document is the definition of the functional interface between TDC and DMIs. The conversion of physical signals into numerical representation is out of scope. NOTE 2 The term DMI is used in this clause as synonym for display. The standard differs from DIN CLC/TR 50542-2 (VDE 0115-542-2):2019-05 as follows: a) no technical changes; b) Annex A has been removed. This standard is used in order to make it possible to integrate displays from different manufacturers in the driver's cab of railway vehicles and thus simplify maintenance, replacement, and system modernization.
