Overview
This document applies to flexible, single-core, halogen-free power cables with cross-linked insulation and a jacket that produces minimal smoke and corrosive gases in the event of a fire, particularly for use on the direct current (DC) side of photovoltaic systems with rated DC voltages up to 1,5 kV between conductors and between conductor and earth. The cables are suitable for use with class II protected equipment and are intended for permanent use underwater. In accordance with the scope of application there are no restrictions on the scope of application of this document. Typical examples of application for this document are cables of the H1Z8Z8-K type that are intended for permanent use underwater.
