Overview

DIN EN IEC 60974-1 (VDE 0544-1):2023-08 applies to welding power sources for arc welding and related processes for commercial use and supplied with a voltage not exceeding 1 000 V, battery-powered, or mechanically driven. It specifies safety and performance requirements for the construction of welding power sources and plasma cutting systems. Corrigendum 1 corrects the equation incorrectly presented in Definition 3.1.33.
