Electromagnetic influence of electric power supply on telecommunication systems - Part 3: Influence by alternating current traction systems
Maßnahmen bei Beeinflussung von Telekommunikationsanlagen durch Starkstromanlagen - Teil 3: Beeinflussung durch Wechselstrom-Bahnanlagen
Overview
In conjunction with DIN VDE 0845-6-1 (VDE 0845-6-1) this document applies to the influence on telecommunications systems induced by railway ac power systems with the frequency 16,7 Hz or exceptionally 50 Hz which use the rail as return conductor. Alternating current traction systems include: a) overhead lines; b) traction power lines; c) railway power stations and substations. This standard refers to DIN VDE 0845-6-1 (VDE 0845-6-1), which describes or specifies, respectively, the general information, the relevant measurement and calculation methods and the limits and adds the specific requirements for protection against influences caused by voltages and/or currents induced by railway ac power systems. Furthermore, the standard refers to relevant technical recommendations from the Arbitration Board for Interference Issues (SfB). The provisions of DIN VDE 0845-6-1 (VDE 0845-6-1) apply with regard to telecommunications systems. Measures to prevent direct contact between parts of telecommunications and traction systems are specified in DIN EN 50163 (VDE 0115-102), DIN EN 50341-1 (VDE 0210-1), DIN VDE 0211 (VDE 0211), and DIN VDE 0800-1 (VDE 0800-1). The company's internal regulations as well as Technical Recommendations No. 2 and No. 6 issued by the Arbitration Board for Interference Issues (SfB) also apply for signaling systems, telecommunications systems, and block systems operated by Deutsche Bahn AG. The standard differs from DIN VDE 0228-3 (VDE 0228-3):1988-09 as follows: a) change in the standard number, as the standards of the DIN VDE 0228 (VDE 0228) on interference and the DIN VDE 0845 (VDE 0845) series on surge protection for information technology equipment (ITE) will in future be consolidated into the DIN VDE 0845 (VDE 0845) series in accordance with the relevant resolution of the competent DKE/UK 767.6; b) adaptation of the standard to the current state of the art and editorial revision of the content; c) the expectation factor w is set directly in relation to the short-circuit current and is no longer listed as a separate term in the equation under subclause 6.2.1.2; d) inclusion of Clause 8 "Electric and magnetic fields in the proximity of 16,7 Hz and 50 Hz AC traction systems" from the earlier draft DIN VDE 0228-6 (VDE 0228-6).
