Overview
This International Standard deals with the safety of electric motor or magnetically operated: - hand-held tools (Part 2); - transportable tools (Part 3); - lawn and garden machinery (Part 4). The above groups are hereinafter referred to as "power tools" or "machines". This Part 2-8 applies to hand-held shears and nibblers. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
