Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit - Elektrische Geräte für die Detektion und Messung von brennbaren Gasen, toxischen Gasen oder Sauerstoff; Deutsche Fassung EN 50270:2015, Berichtigung zu DIN EN 50270 (VDE 0843-30):2015-10; Deutsche Fassung EN 50270:2015/AC:2016

Overview

This European Standard specifies requirements for the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for electrical apparatus for the detection and measurement of combustible gases, toxic gases or oxygen. This European Standard applies to apparatus intended for use in residential, commercial and light industrial environments as well as to apparatus intended for use in industrial environments. The apparatus may be AC-, DC- or battery powered. This European Standard is also applicable to apparatus which is intended for use in hazardous areas which may contain explosive or potentially explosive atmospheres. This Corrigendum corrects the note in Table 3, Immunity - DC Power Inputs and Outputs, and Table 4, Immunity - AC Power Inputs and Outputs, for the environmental phenomenon of voltage dips. The responsible committee is UK 966.1 "Mess- und Warngeräte für gefährliche Gase" ("Measurement and warning devices for dangerous gases") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
