Overview
At the time of printing of the German standard DIN EN 60335-2-80 (VDE 0700-80) a transfer error occurred which is corrected in this corrigendum. In 7.12, second sentence, "separated from" is replaced by "switched off". The sentence now reads as follows: "Prior to removal of the guards it shall be ensured that the fan is switched off from the mains supply". It is recommended to include a note referring to this corrigendum on the standard concerned. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 511.10 "Kleingeräte" ("Small appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
