Overview
This standard specifies the dimensions, requirements and tests for RF coaxial connectors with clamp coupling, type F-quick. This connector is typically used for indoor connections, which are easily disconnected and reconnected. The connectors can be interconnected with the type F connector in accordance with IEC 61169-24. The typical application is for F-type coaxial receiver leads or F-type coaxial patch cables. The interface may also be known as a Push-On connector. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
