Overview
This standard describes fuses for use by unskilled persons which comply to the following fuse systems and which shall meet all clauses of IEC 60269-1 and the requirements laid down in the relevant fuse systems. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 541.1 "Sicherungen und Schalter-Sicherungseinheiten" ("Fuses and fuse-combination units") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
